most peolpe consider Rodney Mullen a hero beacause he is awesome at skateboarding, i think he is a hero because he invented most of skateboarding and tricks himself. Back in the day he invented tricks such as flatground ollie and truckstand. he helped tony hawk learn how to drop in and do tricks on vert. and even today he is the best flatground and freestyle skater alive. some people (like the very elderly.) who dont like skateboarding might not like him because he may encourage teenagers to destroy property on their skateboards.
